Field notes & fixes
The game isn’t working as expected.
First, check the App Store for a Bad Penguins update. Close and reopen the game, and restart your device if the issue continues.
Game progress may be stored locally, so avoid deleting the app while troubleshooting. If you’re still stuck, email us with your device details and the steps that lead to the issue.
How do I unlock Penguin Panic?
Finish Level 10, then tap PENGUIN PANIC on the title screen. Waves follow the campaign’s frozen locations, a boss visits every 10 waves, and each day brings a new twist. Your best score and wave are saved.
Runs earn up to 150 Research Credits, and a new best that reaches wave 10 also earns a free supply crate, once a day.
What is a Serum Frenzy?
From Level 4, every cure fills the Frenzy meter under the cures counter. When it’s full, your injector fires faster for a few seconds and cures splash onto nearby infected penguins. On boss levels the meter fills more slowly.
From Level 8 you can also watch an optional video on the level card to start with a full meter.
Are supply crates free?
Yes, always. You earn crates by ranking up, reaching star milestones, claiming daily rewards, and setting Penguin Panic records. Each crate holds Research Credits and a hat, serum colour, or cure burst, and duplicates turn into credits. Crates are never sold.

I missed a day of Daily Rewards.
The Daily Rewards calendar runs for seven days, with an epic crate waiting on Day 7. You can claim one reward per calendar day. If you miss a day, the calendar starts again at Day 1.
How do I share a moment?
Tap SHARE after a Penguin Panic run, a boss cure, a rank-up, or a rare crate find. The game makes a picture and opens the iOS share sheet, so you choose where it goes. If you save the picture, iOS asks for permission to add it to your photo library.
How do I restore a purchase?
Use the game’s Restore Purchase option while signed in to the same Apple Account used for the original purchase. Restore applies to eligible non-consumable purchases.
If the purchase still isn’t recognized, contact support. Apple handles billing and refunds; you can review a purchase at reportaproblem.apple.com ↗.
An ad or reward didn’t load.
Check your internet connection, wait a moment, and try again. An ad may not be available for every request.
If a rewarded ad finishes but the reward doesn’t arrive, tell us which reward you selected, when it happened, and your app version.
Where can I manage advertising privacy choices?
Look for Ad Privacy Choices in the game’s Settings when available in your region. You can also review device-level privacy settings.

Can I play on my device?
Bad Penguins plays on iPhone and iPad and requires iOS 17 or iPadOS 17 or later. The App Store listing has the current device compatibility information. The game is rated 12+.
Progress is saved on the device you play on, so it doesn’t carry over between an iPhone and an iPad.
